The municipality of Ranua invites you to join the discussion on the future of rural areas and the potential of the circular economy in agriculture.
The seminar will present concrete solutions for biogas and circular fertilizer production, which have been developed with the close involvement of local farms. At the same time, we will delve into the sustainability of agriculture, nutrient cycling and regional resource flows - from carbon sink forests to lake biomass and the new potential of peatlands.

The seminar is part of the Developing Cooperation for Biogas and Biofertiliser Production - Farmers' Group Project (BIKI project). The project has been granted public support of 75% of the eligible costs from the European EAFRD through the Lapland EAFRD Centre.
