The Bear's Lair offers premium accommodation for an experience of a lifetime. Bear's Nest is located on the west side of the animal park, behind the campsite in a wooded forest area. The site is zoned RM in the current zoning plan, which allows for a 500 kem² building.

Tourism is an important industry in Ranua

The combined tourism turnover of tourism enterprises is about EUR 7.5 million. The number of nights spent in accommodation establishments and cottages in Ranua is about 25 000 per year. The total number of beds in the accommodation units is about 500.

Now in its 40th year, the Ranuan Wildlife Park has grown into a holiday destination for the whole family and international visitors, and its attraction is a positive stimulus for the whole region.

Lapland Tourism Industry Association (LME) is an association whose aim is to promote the interests of the tourism industry and to strengthen the appreciation and cooperation of the tourism sector. The association is intended for tourism businesses operating in the region of Lapland. It operates in the whole province and is based in Rovaniemi.

Responsible Tourism Network in Lapland welcomes authorities, research and education organisations and other stakeholders working in the field of responsible tourism in the Northern Finland region.

Lapland University of Applied Sciences and University of Lapland are working on cooperation and development projects with the regional business community.
