Free clinic training for businesses

Is it worth growing your business?

Growth brings new opportunities, but without profitability it can become an uncontrollable risk. Stable and planned growth strengthens the financial sustainability of a company, improves its competitiveness and enables it to invest in the future. With the right tools and strategies, you can ensure that your business grows in an orderly, productive and sustainable way. This training provides practical methods to help you build a long-term, profitable business.

The aim of the training

The aim of the training is to prepare participants to understand what profitable growth consists of and what different measures it requires from management and staff. The training is divided into four modules, which will equip everyone to start creating a growth plan for their own business.

The training will be led by Johannes Vallivaara and Marko Merkkiniemi from Aallon Lappi Oy, who have extensive experience in supporting Finnish SMEs and promoting their success in various roles. After the training, you will have the opportunity to book a 1-2 hour personal coaching session, where you will receive practical guidance on how to develop and implement a growth plan for your business.

The trainings are part of the Strategic Growth in Change project. The project, funded by the European Social Fund plus and implemented by the ELY Centre of Lapland, will run from 1.12.2023 to 30.11.2026. The project is 100% ESF+ funded and has a total budget of €1,147,437.

The key objective of the Strategic Growth in Change project is to strengthen the skills of the management and staff of SMEs in Lapland. As part of the project's services, we will organise three clinics in April-June 2025, consisting of joint events for companies and one-to-one sparring sessions.

You can register for one or all of the training sessions if you wish. Places for one-to-one sparring sessions are limited to around ten companies. More companies can participate in joint sessions. If there are more registrations than places, the ELY Centre of Lapland will make a selection and inform the registrants.

The service is completely free of charge, but the value of the service counts as de minimis aid to the company. For more information on de minimis aid: https: //tem.fi/vahamerkityksinen-tuki-eli-de-minimis-tuki
