Developing cooperation to produce biogas and circular fertiliser - the Farmers' Group Project (BIKI project)
Developing cooperation for the production of biogas and circular fertiliser - Farmers' Group Project (BIKI project) was a cooperation project implemented by the municipality of Ranua, which was granted a public subsidy of 75% of the eligible costs of the project by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) through the Lapland Regional Development Centre.
The aim of the cooperation project was to develop, through both joint development measures and farm-specific measures linked to the joint measures, the production cooperation of ten farms in Ranua to produce biogas raw material and to explore the possibilities for the production of circular fertilisers.
The project was due to be completed by 31.5.2025.
