Hotel and Sauna World
The hotel will be located in a prominent position at the heart of the Zoo's business centre, in the RM area of the zoning plan. The entrance to the hotel opens onto a pedestrian area directly connected to the entrance plaza of the zoo, and continues in front of the hotel towards the southeastern home village.

South-eastern home village
The southeastern home village allows for an accommodation experience that immerses you in a unique way in the middle of northern nature and animals. The eagle village is located in the RM2 area of the zoning plan, with a building capacity of 4000 kem2.

Bear's Nest accommodation
The Bear's Lair offers premium accommodation for an experience of a lifetime. Bear's Nest is located on the west side of the animal park, behind the campsite in a wooded forest area. The site is zoned RM in the current zoning plan, which allows for 500 kem2 of development.

Tourism is an important industry in Ranua
The combined tourism turnover of tourism enterprises is about EUR 7.5 million. The number of nights spent in accommodation establishments and cottages in Ranua is about 25 000 per year. The total number of beds in the accommodation units is about 500.
Now in its 40th year, the Ranuan Wildlife Park has grown into a holiday destination for the whole family and international visitors, and its attraction is a positive stimulus for the whole region.

The Lapland Tourism Industry Association (LME) is an association whose goal is to promote the interests of the tourism industry and strengthen the appreciation and cooperation of the tourism industry. The association is intended for tourism companies operating in the region of Lapland. The operating area is the entire region and the domicile is Rovaniemi.
The responsible tourism network in Lapland welcomes authorities working with responsible tourism in northern Finland, research and education organisations and other stakeholders.
Lapland University of Applied Sciences and the University of Lapland carry out cooperation and development projects with the region's business life.
