Improving the condition of water bodies and aquatic biomass
Forest drainage, agriculture, and human settlement have gradually placed a burden on the lakes, causing significant amounts of humus-rich sediment to accumulate on their bottoms in some areas. As the climate warms, lake water temperatures are also rising, and together with the humus-rich sediment, this creates favorable growing conditions for aquatic vegetation.Join us to discuss the state of our waterways and to develop nature-based solutions for improving the waterways in Ranua.
The event is open to everyone. We especially invite representatives of water area shareholder associations, residents living along the shores, owners of surrounding land, and users of the waterways.
