Training Program: Becoming an Expert in Responsible Tourism Platform Operations – Fall 2026

We will be offering a free training course titled "Becoming an Expert in Responsible Platform Economy in Tourism" in the fall of 2026.

In addition, there is the opportunity to receive personalized coaching.

  • Wed, Sept. 23, 1:00–4:00 p.m. What to Sell and to Whom (Safety)

  • Wed, Sept. 30, 1:00–4:00 p.m. How do I make this profitable? (Pricing, leveraging data)

  • Fri, Oct. 23, 1:00–4:00 p.m.: How do marketplaces in the travel sharing economy work, and what kinds of products sell well there?

  • Fri, Oct. 30, 1:00–4:00 p.m.: How to Build Visibility and Boost Sales on Tourism Platform Economy Marketplaces

Target audience: Micro- and small business owners in the Lapland region, or those planning to start such a business, as well as individuals who provide or plan to provide tourism-related accommodation, experiences, or other services. You already sell and market your services—or plan to do so—on international tourism sharing economy platforms (such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and GetYourGuide).
