  • Joint Group Training: Procurement Skills

    • Thursday, September 3, 12:00–3:00 p.m. (Teams).

  • Company-specific coaching (2 hours)

Content of the coaching

The training program establishes a shared knowledge base for procurement, and participants apply what they have learned during the training itself. The goal is for participating companies to be able to independently identify, evaluate, and take advantage of public procurement opportunities after the workshop.

Group coaching topics:

  • Public Procurement as a Business Opportunity

  • The Procurement Process, Step by Step

  • Identifying procurement opportunities: Using the HILMA service and other channels

  • Analyzing the request for proposals and making a decision on participation

  • Key factors in preparing a bid: How do you create a winning bid?

  • Critical factors for success

Company-specific coaching is tailored to each company’s specific situation and needs. It puts into practice what was learned during the group training. The participating company receives concrete and useful tools tailored to its specific situation for participating in and succeeding in competitive bidding processes.

You can receive two hours of company-specific coaching on procurement skills.

Who is the instructor?

Gofore Oyj is responsible for the practical implementation of both training programs. The trainers are Noora Räsänen and Janina Riutta.

Noora Räsänen and Janina Riutta are experienced procurement consultants who have carried out numerous procurement projects and prepared requests for proposals and procurement contracts across various industries and throughout Finland. They have supported clients in conducting competitive bidding processes, which gives them a strong practical understanding of public procurement requirements and evaluation criteria. Based on this experience, they are able to help companies identify competitive bidding opportunities suitable for their business, develop their capabilities to participate in them, and build concrete tools for success in competitive bidding.

The coaches’ approach emphasizes a practical focus, active participation, case studies, consideration of the company’s specific situation, and the development of concrete tools.

In the clinic program, the trainers utilize participatory methods such as case-based learning, live demonstrations (HILMA and tender documents), guided exercises, and company-specific coaching.
