Tourism in Lapland is growing rapidly, creating demand also for the most famous tourist area of Ranuai. The municipality of Ranua has a clear goal to get tourism investments going in the area around the Ranuan Animal Park and to increase the offer of the area. The event will present the vision and future scenarios for the Ranuan Zoo environment, land use and route plans and a roadmap for the implementation of the Master Plan.

The event is part of the Ranuan Animal Park Environment as a Business Ecosystem for Tourism development project. The total cost of the project is €100,000, for which the Regional Council of Lapland has granted an 80% subsidy from the Just Transition Fund (JTF).
