Ranua's economic development programme has been drawn up during the autumn with broad participation. The series of three workshops, held in October-November, culminates in a seminar on the future, where the aim is to finalise future goals and actions related to the development of business life and to discuss ranua's differentiating factors.

The updated economic development programme is expected to be approved at the council meeting on 19.12.2022.
You can choose to participate either by arriving on site at the council chamber (Keskustie 34) or remotely (stream). We will send a link before the event to those who have registered remotely. We use an electronic working platform at the seminar, so please bring your smartphone, laptop or tablet with you if you come to the event.

Ranua's Economic Development Programme 2022–2030 will be prepared during the rest of the year in close cooperation with entrepreneurs, partners, shop stewards and other stakeholders in the area. The purpose of the economic development programme is to open up and concretise business-related development over the next few years. The economic development programme of the municipality of Ranua is linked to the municipal strategy for 2022-2030 approved by the council on 13.6.2022.
MDI acts as a partner of the municipality of Ranua in the updating of the economic development programme.
