17:00 - 17:45 General session

  • Welcome and opening of the event

  • A vision for the future development of the region.

  • Presentation of the draft land use plan for the area

  • Public questions and debate

17:45 - 18:30 Landowners' section

  • Presentation of the routes to be implemented and the impact on landowners and their land.

  • Discussion and opportunity to express wishes and concerns about the plans

  • Summary and next steps

The event is part of the Ranua Zoo Environment as a Business Ecosystem for Tourism project, managed by the municipality of Ranua and implemented by Ellare Oy. The municipality of Ranua has been granted an 80% grant by the Lapland Regional Council from the Fair Transition Fund (JTF).
